Baghdad: The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, has clarified that there will be no confrontation between the state and the resistance. He emphasized that the Coordination Framework has reached a consensus on tackling corruption and holding those responsible accountable.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Amiri made these remarks at a memorial ceremony commemorating the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim. He reassured that the state and the resistance would not clash, stating unequivocally, “I assure everyone that there will be absolutely no confrontation between the state and the resistance.”

Al-Amiri further highlighted the importance of combating corruption, noting that it is a unified decision by the Coordination Framework. He expressed support for the prime minister’s efforts in this area. Additionally, he underscored that regulating weapons is a critical national and constitutional goal, necessary for building a robust state capable of safeguarding Iraq’s secu
rity, sovereignty, and dignity. He clarified that this regulation is an internal decision, not influenced by external forces.
