Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met today, Sunday, with Foreign Minister Dr. Fuad Hussein. The meeting focused on reviewing Iraq’s participation in the Senior Security Leaders Conference recently held in the Russian Federation, emphasizing the importance of Iraq’s involvement in international conferences.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions also covered the latest political developments at the regional and international levels, as well as the progress in Iraq’s foreign relations. Al-Araji expressed appreciation for the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ significant and effective role in handling international affairs. He praised Iraqi diplomacy for its efforts in strengthening ties with sisterly and friendly countries, which enhances Iraq’s standing in regional and international arenas.
