Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji met with Katrina Lump, the Head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Iraq, discussing critical issues such as the status of displaced Syrians and the situation at Al-Hol camp. This meeting marks Lump’s introduction to her new role, as she arrived with a delegation to address ongoing humanitarian concerns.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on the pressing need to address the challenges faced by Syrian refugees residing on Iraqi soil and the contentious issue of the Al-Hol camp, which hosts Iranian opposition members, Iraqis, and other foreigners.
