Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji received the Deputy Commander of the Swedish Police, Stefan Hector, at his office on Wednesday. The meeting, attended by the Swedish Ambassador to Iraq, J¶rgen Lindstr¶m, and the Head of the European Union Advisory Mission in Iraq, Anders Vipari, focused on strengthening bilateral relations in tackling terrorism, organized crime, and drug-related issues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji expressed Iraq’s willingness to collaborate in ensuring sustainable security for Iraq, the region, and the broader international community. He highlighted the importance of mutual visits in facilitating the exchange of expertise and enhancing capacity building between Iraq and Sweden.
