Baghdad: National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji discussed with the head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Saad Maan, the role of the Security Media Cell in supporting the efforts of the security services and achieving security stability.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Araji’s media office detailed that he received Major General Saad Maan in his office today, Thursday. The discussions focused on highlighting the role of the security forces in dealing with security tasks through transparency and professional and responsible media.

Al-Araji stressed that the Security Media Cell has played a prominent role in countering rumors and revealing the facts to the people and public opinion. He praised the efforts of the cell and its contributions in providing reliable official security media.
