Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji affirmed that the Iraqi government is committed to its openness to all countries of the world. The National Security Chancellery stated in a press release that Al-Araji met today at his office with the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Anil Bora Anan. During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as reviewing joint memoranda of understanding at all levels.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji emphasized the Iraqi government’s commitment to openness with all countries, ensuring the interests of Iraq and its people. The meeting underscored the significance of maintaining and expanding diplomatic ties in a manner that supports Iraq’s strategic goals.

The Turkish Ambassador praised the Iraqi government’s role in the successful parliamentary elections, offering congratulations on their smooth conduct. The ambassador noted that the elections strengthen democracy in Iraq, highlighting the importance of continued cooperation between the two nations.
