Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji affirmed that ISIS still poses a real threat to the security of the region and the world, exploiting the instability in Syria.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji stated in a post on the website /X/: “Based on Iraq’s national and regional responsibility in confronting terrorism, we affirm that the danger of the ISIS terrorist organization still poses a real threat to the security of the region and the world, exploiting the instability in Syria and the security and humanitarian vacuums left by years of conflict.”
