Basra: Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani met with the head of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee - Basra Branch, Major General Dr. Haider Aboud Al-Eidani, to discuss the current state of sports and ways to support sports federations and clubs in the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, which followed Al-Eidani's assumption of his duties, the governor affirmed his support for all sports activities and events, and his backing of sports federations and clubs, including Al-Minaa Sports Club. This effort is aimed at contributing to the development of sports in Basra, supporting athletes, and achieving further accomplishments.
