Amman: Al-Faisaly won the Jordanian Super Cup for the 18th time, defeating Al-Hussein Irbid 2-1 in a match held at Amman International Stadium. Ahmad Al-Arsan scored from a penalty kick, and Anas Al-Awadat added another goal for Al-Faisaly in the 19th and 84th minutes, respectively. Mahmoud Deeb scored Al-Hussein Irbid’s lone goal in the 55th minute. Al-Faisaly reclaimed the title, which had eluded them for the past five years, securing their first Super Cup victory since 2020 and their 18th overall, in their 27th final appearance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hussein Irbid failed to retain their title for the third consecutive time after winning in 2024 and 2025, and also missed out on a fourth Super Cup title in their eighth final appearance. Al-Faisaly extended their record for the most Super Cup titles to 18, compared to 15 for Al-Wehdat, 3 each for Al-Ramtha and Al-Hussein Irbid, 2 each for Shabab Al-Ordon, and 1 each for Al-Jazeera and Al-Ahli.

Al-Faisaly reached the final after defeating Al-Wehdat 2-1 in the semi-final, while Al-Hussein Irbid secured their place in the final with a resounding 5-0 victory over Al-Ramtha. Al-Faisaly participated in the tournament as the runner-up of the Professional League and the Shield Cup champion from the previous season, while Al-Hussein Irbid entered as the league and Jordan Cup champion.
