Baghdad: Al-Fayyad assures wounded members of the Popular Mobilization Forces that their rights will be guaranteed in the upcoming service and retirement law. The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyad, met with a delegation of wounded PMF fighters on Thursday to address their suffering and challenges.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF issued a press release stating that the discussions during the meeting centered around the service and retirement law for PMF fighters, particularly focusing on the rights it guarantees for these members who have made sacrifices. Al-Fayyad reiterated the PMF’s dedication to ensuring the rights of martyrs and the wounded are upheld by incorporating all necessary provisions in the law to guarantee their fair treatment, comparable to other security forces.
He underscored the obligation to support the wounded and attend to the families of martyrs, acknowledging the sacrifices made in defense of Iraq. Al-Fayyad highlighted the significance of monitoring the health and humanitarian conditions of these individuals and utilizing all resources available to serve and meet their needs.
