Baghdad:Al-Hakim and Al-Amiri emphasized the significance of addressing challenges through enhanced internal cohesion, as discussed during their meeting on Wednesday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, leader of the National Wisdom Movement, and Hadi Al-Amiri, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, exchanged congratulations on National Sovereignty Day, marking the end of the Global Coalition’s mission to combat ISIS.

Al-Hakim underscored that this day serves as a message of Iraq’s recovery and signifies international recognition of Iraq’s capability to manage its security affairs independently. He also mentioned it as a starting point for resolving the issue of weapons outside state control.

During their discussions, both leaders stressed the importance of confronting challenges, particularly economic ones, with internal unity. They highlighted the necessity of restoring stability in the region and ending ongoing conflicts and escalations.
