Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, has strongly criticized the activities of Israel in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, categorizing them as “war crimes against humanity.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim issued a statement marking the International Day of Reflection on Genocide. He urged global religious, political, organizational, and popular entities to work towards ending all forms of prohibited killings that are justified under religious, national, ethnic, and sectarian pretexts.

Al-Hakim emphasized that the current practices by Israel in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria are clear instances of war crimes against humanity. He called for decisive action to halt the persistent assaults in these regions.

Additionally, al-Hakim reflected on Iraq’s history, highlighting that the Iraqi people have also endured genocide, citing events such as the Anfal campaign, the Halabja chemical attack, the destruction of the marshes, and the widespread mass graves, alongside the impact of terrorism. He stressed the importance of remembering the victims and honoring their families.
