Al-Hakim Praises Nineveh’s Reconstruction as a Model for Iraq


Nineveh: Head of the State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, emphasized the significance of the reconstruction efforts in Nineveh Governorate, describing them as a success story worthy of emulation. He highlighted that the construction activities in Nineveh have garnered attention from various quarters and called for addressing the plight of kidnapped women to alleviate the suffering of their families.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hakim made these remarks during his visit to Nineveh Governorate, where he engaged with the governor, deputy governors, members of the provincial council, department heads, and security officials. He expressed his satisfaction with visiting Mosul, noting its progress towards recovery.



Al-Hakim remarked that the situation in Mosul reflects the broader recovery occurring across Iraq. He described Nineveh as a “miniature Iraq” due to its diversity and stated that the stability achieved in the region sends a positive message to all Iraqis.



Furthermore, al-Hakim highlighted Nineveh’s potential to attract investment, stressing the importance of addressing social challenges realistically to restore citizens’ confidence in the Iraqi state.
