Baghdad: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, affirmed on Tuesday his support for Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi in achieving economic reforms and implementing the government program.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hakim, in a speech on the occasion of the holy month of Muharram, stated, “We support Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi in achieving economic reforms and implementing the government program.” He emphasized the importance of continuing the political progress in Iraq to consolidate security and political stability, stressing that any hindrance to this progress, regardless of justification, should not be tolerated.

Al-Hakim highlighted that the Coordination Framework has taken significant steps to support the Prime Minister, particularly in the economic sector, which is a top priority in the government program approved by the Council of Representatives. He reiterated his full support for Al-Zaidi’s government, underscoring that its success equates to Iraq’s success, and that implementing the reform, development, and service program is a shared national responsibility.

Furthermore, Al-Hakim noted that all political forces agree on the necessity of confining weapons to the state. He mentioned that while protecting the state from collapse was the past priority, the current focus is on completing the state’s construction and strengthening its stability.
