Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haybat al-Halbousi and a delegation from the Christian Suwayana Bloc, led by MP Kaldo Ramzi Oghna, engaged in discussions regarding the enhancement of Parliament’s legislative and supervisory functions.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker’s media office issued a statement indicating that Al-Halbousi hosted the delegation from the Christian Suwayana Bloc. The talks focused on various files and issues pertinent to the Christian community, alongside several topics concerning the effective functioning of Parliament. The meeting aimed at identifying ways to strengthen the legislative and supervisory roles of Parliament.
