Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi met with British Ambassador Irfan Siddiq on Thursday to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker’s media office released a statement outlining the details of the meeting, which took place on Thursday. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for cooperation across various sectors. Both parties also reviewed regional and international developments, alongside several issues of mutual interest.
