Hamoud:Baghdad Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Heibat Al-Halbousi, made a phone call to his Jordanian counterpart, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mazen Turki Saud Al-Qadi, condemning a recent attack on a church in Jordan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the conversation, Al-Halbousi denounced the terrorist attack in the town of Hamoud in the Karak Governorate of Jordan. He emphasized Iraq’s steadfast opposition to all forms of terrorism and extremism, condemning actions that threaten the lives of innocent people and undermine security and stability.

Al-Halbousi also extended condolences to Al-Qadi, the leadership, government, and people of Jordan, and the families of the victims. He offered prayers for the victims’ souls and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
