Baghdad: The Head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, received the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Mohammed al-Zaman, in his office in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Progress Party stated that during the meeting, they discussed relations between the two brotherly countries and enhancing cooperation in a number of fields. The meeting also discussed developments in the political situation in Iraq and the region, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
