Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani engaged in discussions with former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi regarding the preparations for the parliamentary elections set to take place in November.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s media office released a statement highlighting the meeting between al-Sudani and Allawi. The discussion focused on reviewing the local situation and addressing various political and economic issues at the national level.
