Al-Houthi Responds to Trump’s Statements with Continued Support for Gaza

Sanaa: A member of the Supreme Political Council of the Ansar Allah group in Yemen, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, confirmed that "American and Israeli terrorism will not frighten the Yemeni people." Al-Houthi made these remarks in his first response to US President Donald Trump's statements, emphasizing that "support for Gaza continues, and the response is coming." He also called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to prepare his resignation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Houthi criticized Netanyahu's actions, labeling them as "failed terrorism." He asserted that the Ansar Allah group would not accept in Yemen what they refused to continue in Palestine, suggesting a shift in the balance against aggressors.

The context of these statements follows US President Donald Trump's announcement of the cessation of US airstrikes on Yemen. Trump remarked that the Ansar Allah group expressed a desire to cease fighting, describing this development as "good news."
