Baghdad: Former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi cast his vote in the general electoral conference of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, whose 23rd session began today, Friday, in Baghdad, under the slogan “Iraqi Journalists… Freedom and Inspiration for Building.” Media delegations from the International Federation of Journalists and the Federation of Arab Journalists, as well as high-level Arab and foreign journalists, were present.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Kadhimi’s participation in the voting process highlights the significance of the event, which aims to strengthen the role of journalists in Iraq.
