Al-Lami Visits Kirkuk Journalists Syndicate Branch and Receives Honorary Shield


Kirkuk: The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, along with several council members, visited the Kirkuk branch headquarters, where they were welcomed by the branch head and the administrative board members. The visit highlighted the collaborative efforts within the branch to foster a conducive working environment for journalists.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Lami and the council members reviewed the branch’s recent activities and lauded the development of the headquarters. The improvements were recognized as pivotal in providing journalists with a platform to conduct their professional and cultural activities efficiently.



Al-Lami acknowledged the hard work of the Kirkuk branch and underscored the importance of their achievements in advancing union work. He emphasized the Syndicate’s role in supporting the journalistic community and protecting its rights.



The Kirkuk branch leaders expressed their gratitude for the visit, reaffirming their dedication to working collaboratively to serve journalists and media professionals in the region. They pledged to align their efforts with the syndicate’s national and professional objectives.



In a gesture of appreciation, Comrade Marwan Al-Ani, head of the Kirkuk branch, presented a shield to Moayad Al-Lami, acknowledging his support for the journalistic community in Kirkuk.
