Al-Mandalawi Highlights Role of Iraqi Tribes in National Security and Unity

Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohsen Al-Mandalawi affirmed the vital role played by the authentic Iraqi tribes in strengthening community security, confronting alien phenomena that threaten social values, and reinforcing national unity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from Al-Mandalawi’s media office revealed that he hosted Sheikh Raad Shnan Al-Rabbat, a notable tribal leader from Al-Muthanna Governorate, at his guest house on Wednesday evening. The discussion centered on the conditions of the governorate, addressing the concerns of its residents, their aspirations for improved services and opportunities, and exploring ways to bolster support in the service and development sectors.

Al-Mandalawi emphasized that Al-Muthanna, with its resources and potential, merits greater attention and initiatives aimed at positively impacting the lives of its citizens. He committed to advocating for the governorate’s service needs with the government and relevant authorities to ensure it receives its fair share of development, justice, and a decent standard of living.
