Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, has issued directives to initiate contact with the Prime Minister’s Office to validate the contracts of individuals appointed in 2020 on the permanent staff in Baghdad. This group, comprising 17,930 individuals, has contractual service in line with Resolution 315.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directive emphasizes the importance of including the financial allocations for these contracts within the appropriations designated for this category in the 2023 budget. The move aims to ensure that financial provisions are secured for those appointed, thereby affirming their positions within the permanent staff structure.
