Nineveh: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi arrived in Nineveh Governorate and embarked on a comprehensive field tour that included visits to Bashiqa, Bahzani, and Hamdaniya. The purpose of the tour was to closely observe the service and social conditions in these areas and to highlight Nineveh's role as a model of authentic Iraqi diversity, showcasing the unity of the nation's various communities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mandalawi's media office released a statement detailing his engagements during the tour. In Bashiqa, he met with Kojak Noon, a representative of the Yazidi clergy, the priest of the Mart Shmoni Syriac Orthodox Church, and Sheikh Mulla Ezzedine, head of the Islamic Council. In Bahzani, he met with Father Jaber, the pastor of the Mark Gorgis Syriac Orthodox Church, and Qawwal Bahzad Safo, a member of the Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council and head of the Qawwals. In Hamdaniya, he held discussions with Bishop Mar Benedictus Hanno, the Archbishop of the Diocese of Mosul and its Dependencies for Syriac Catholics, along with several church leaders and local officials.

During his interactions with clergy from various sects and religions, Al-Mandalawi emphasized that the coexistence among Nineveh's diverse communities is a vital asset that should be preserved and strengthened. He assured that the House of Representatives is committed to supporting the people of the province by upholding their legitimate demands and enacting legislation that secures the rights of all communities and minorities. Al-Mandalawi expressed that his visit underscores his commitment to supporting the governorate and enhancing its stability and development by addressing the concerns and needs of its people directly.
