Al-Mandlawi Urges UN Resolution to Halt Zionist Entity’s Crimes

Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, has issued a strong condemnation against what he describes as the blatant targeting of the State of Qatar by the Zionist entity. Al-Mandalawi also denounced the targeting of the Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha, labeling these actions as a “flagrant violation of international conventions and norms, and a serious threat to regional and international security and peace.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mandlawi, in a statement on Tuesday, expressed Iraq’s solidarity with Qatar, underscoring that the attacks by the Zionist entity have extended beyond the occupied Palestinian territories to include sovereign Arab countries. He emphasized that these actions constitute a grave violation of international law and United Nations resolutions, warning that such provocations could escalate into a comprehensive war in the region.

The First Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that various statements of condemnation from Arab, Islamic, and international powers reflect a unified stance against such aggressive practices. He urged these declarations to be translated into concrete measures through a unified front aimed at passing an urgent UN resolution. This resolution would compel the international community to put a stop to the entity’s crimes and safeguard nations and people from repeated aggressions.

Al-Mandlawi concluded by reiterating that Iraq, guided by its national, regional, and Islamic principles, will persist in defending just causes and opposing expansionist and aggressive policies that endanger regional stability.
