Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani has announced the formation of a joint committee comprising members from Parliament and the Teachers’ Union to address the demands of educators and ensure their implementation in a timely manner. This initiative is expected to facilitate better communication and coordination between the legislative body and educational professionals.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the newly formed committee aims to monitor the progress of addressing educators’ concerns, ensuring that their demands are met effectively. The establishment of this committee reflects the government’s commitment to improving the educational sector and supporting teachers in their efforts to enhance the quality of education.

The joint committee will also organize a subsequent session to review the progress made in meeting the educators’ demands. This session will provide an opportunity for both Parliament members and the Teachers’ Union to discuss any challenges faced during the implementation process and to strategize on possible solutions.
