Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Mahmoud al-Mashhadani congratulated the Iraqi people on the conclusion of the elections, praising their high level of national awareness. In a statement, al-Mashhadani expressed his gratitude, stating, “With the conclusion of the electoral process, we extend our thanks and appreciation to our conscious Iraqi people, who have proven today that they are worthy of democracy and the architects of their nation’s future through their free will.”
