Baghdad: Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, engaged in discussions with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, focusing on the relationship between Iraq’s central government and the Kurdistan Region, and addressing unresolved issues.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mashhadani underscored the importance of ongoing dialogues between the central government and the Kurdistan Region to formulate solutions that adhere to the constitution. The meeting, held on Wednesday, highlighted the necessity of sustaining these discussions to achieve a mutually satisfactory resolution to outstanding problems.

Both leaders concurred on the importance of maintaining positive communication, fostering dialogues, and collaborating to attain outcomes that benefit all Iraqi citizens across various communities.
