Basra: The interim administration of Al-Minaa Club has officially announced the signing of Syrian national team player Khaled Kurdghali from Duhok Club. This move is part of Al-Minaa's strategic efforts to strengthen the team ahead of the Iraqi Stars League.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Haider Abdul Karim, the club's media office director, stated that Kurdghali will enhance the team's left-back position. The administration has now finalized its signings, having previously secured Syrians Fahd Al-Youssef and Yassin Samia, Tunisians Malek Milad and Hossam Al-Habsi, along with players Bimo and Odem.

Coach Hussein Abdul Wahid has focused on assembling a team of seasoned players who have experience with national teams and popular clubs. Among these are Mohammed Dawood, Saad Natiq, and Abdul Razzaq Qasim, all selected to fortify the team for the upcoming season.

Abdul Karim also mentioned that Al-Minaa is conducting a training camp in Erbil. During this camp, the team played two friendly matches, suffering a 2-0 defeat against Mosul, but bouncing back with a 3-1 victory over Naft Maysan. These matches are part of their preparation to achieve results that honor the club's storied history.
