Baghdad: Lieutenant General Qais al-Muhammadai, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations and head of the Supreme Committee for Million-Person Pilgrimages, chaired a crucial security meeting to discuss preparations for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell released a statement indicating that al-Muhammadai led the first coordination meeting at the command headquarters, focusing on reviewing the extensive preparations required for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The meeting brought together commanders, directors, and staff officers from key security and defense entities, including the Ministries of Defence and Interior, the Popular Mobilisation Forces, and various operations commands from Baghdad, Karbala, Najaf, and Babylon.
