Baghdad: Lieutenant General Qais al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations and Head of the Supreme Committee for Million-Person Pilgrimages, arrived in Najaf Governorate accompanied by a high-level delegation. His visit aims to review the latest preparations for receiving pilgrims for the Arba’een of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the delegation’s visit underscores the importance of ensuring that all necessary measures are in place for the safe and orderly accommodation of the large number of pilgrims expected to visit Najaf. The authorities are focused on logistics, security, and other essential services to facilitate the pilgrimage.
