Baghdad: The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations and Head of the Supreme Committee for Million-Person Visits, Lieutenant General Dr. Qais Al-Muhammadawi, arrived in Najaf on Saturday to review the latest preparations for receiving pilgrims to the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell (SMC) stated in a statement that Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations and Head of the Supreme Committee for Million-Person pilgrimage, arrived in the Najaf Governorate, accompanied by a high-level delegation. His visit aims to ensure the readiness of the arrangements for the upcoming religious event, which attracts a significant number of visitors each year.
