Diyala: Within a span of 24 hours, the Al-Mundhiriyah border crossing with Iran saw an influx of over 100,000 visitors from various nationalities. A government source in Diyala confirmed the details, highlighting the significant movement through this crucial border point.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, official statistics recorded at the Al-Mundhiriyah border crossing indicate that 376 Iraqis entered, while 436 left the country. Additionally, 90,384 Iranians entered Iraq, and 14,497 returned to Iran within the same period.

The source also noted that during this timeframe, 307 visitors of other foreign nationalities made their entry through the crossing. Since the start of Safar, a total of 333,157 visitors have passed through the border, with the majority being from Iran.
