Diwaniyah: The Ministry of Industry and Minerals has refuted claims regarding a fire at the Diwaniyah Tire Factory, part of the General Company for Rubber and Tire Industries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry issued an official statement clarifying that the fire actually broke out at the “Abraj Al-Kut” company. This company, which is involved in tire recycling, is situated next to the Diwaniyah Tire Factory. The ministry emphasized that the fire was completely outside the premises of the tire manufacturing plant.

The statement aims to address and correct any misconceptions about the location and impact of the fire, assuring that the operations of the Diwaniyah Tire Factory remain unaffected.
