Al-Nasr Coalition Refutes Agreement on Haider Al-Abadi’s Nomination for Prime Minister

Baghdad: Al-Nasr Coalition denied on Tuesday that the Coordination Framework had agreed to nominate Haider al-Abadi for the premiership. In a statement, the coalition said, "The news circulating about the Coordination Framework agreeing to nominate Haider al-Abadi or any other candidate for the next prime minister is inaccurate. This is the final stage after completing the vision, criteria, and commitments for the next phase."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement added, "The next phase is characterized by complex, intertwined, and critical financial, economic, and geopolitical challenges that necessitate a comprehensive vision, integrated planning, genuine solidarity, and disciplined management to enable Iraq to overcome these critical challenges. Reality compels everyone to think and act differently, prioritizing vision, planning, and policies to ensure successful implementation."

The coalition emphasized that "the next phase cannot tolerate a trial period, individual efforts, or reckless gambles. Everyone is involved in the task, and the responsibility is shared in the vision and management of the political system and the interests of the people and the state."
