Duhok: The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, affirmed that Iraq is a pivotal player with a unique historical and political significance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a speech at the Middle East Peace and Security Forum organized by the American University in Duhok, Zaidan stated, "Iraq can serve as a bridge for dialogue between opposing sides," noting that an independent judiciary is the true guarantor of the constitution.

He further added that the Iraqi judiciary has demonstrated its capacity to confront challenges effectively.
