Baghdad: Leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, emphasized that despite his group’s decision to boycott, they did not interfere with the electoral process.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sadr made his remarks in a post on the “X” website, where he stated, “We are not power-seekers, but rather a project to save the nation.” He urged those who gained from the voters’ ballots to take action against corruption and reveal any corrupt individuals or deals.
