Baghdad: The head of Al-Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, received the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, at his office in Baghdad on Monday. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the interests of both countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Alliance’s office said: “Al-Samarrai and Inan addressed the latest political developments in the region and the importance of strengthening the economic and developmental partnership between Baghdad and Ankara, in addition to continuing cooperation on shared issues in a way that consolidates stability and enhances opportunities for mutual development in the coming period.”
