Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi confirmed that Egypt will host the Gaza Reconstruction Summit. In a speech following the signing of the agreement to end the Gaza war, he emphasized that peace remains a strategic choice, achievable only through justice and equality.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sisi described the signing of the agreement as a “historic” moment, declaring that this agreement closes “a painful page in human history.” The summit aims to address the rebuilding efforts in Gaza, focusing on fostering long-term peace and stability in the region.
