Baghdad: The Head of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and the Secretary-General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, have underscored the necessity of maintaining the unity of the Coordination Framework.
According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the media office of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition detailed that Al-Sudani met with Al-Khazali to discuss domestic political dynamics and recent regional developments. The meeting took place during Al-Sudani's visit to Sheikh Al-Khazali.
The statement highlighted that both leaders emphasized the importance of continued consultations among political blocs. These discussions aim to reach an agreement that would facilitate the completion of voting on the remaining cabinet positions, thereby fulfilling constitutional obligations to bolster government stability and enhance the political process.
Additionally, the leaders reiterated the significance of preserving the unity of the Coordination Framework. They called for a unified national discourse and support for the government's initiatives at both executive and legislative levels. This approach is intended to ensure the steady delivery of services to citizens and the implementation of projects that align with the reconstruction and development goals set forth in the government program.
