Mosul: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani visited the Christian Cultural Center project affiliated with the Grand Tahira Church in Mosul. During his visit, Al-Sudani assessed the project details and progress, receiving a briefing from the implementing authority, managed by the local government of Nineveh Governorate.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani was honored with a commemorative gift as a sign of appreciation from the Christian community for the government’s efforts in supporting the reconstruction of their areas and churches. The initiative aims to revive the cultural and civilizational heritage of the governorate.
Additionally, the Prime Minister toured the rear courtyard of the Grand Tahira Church, where he planted a tree sapling. This act was a tribute to the victims of terrorism and a symbol of Iraqi national unity and solidarity among all its communities.
