Baghdad – Prime Minister Mohamed Al-Sudani congratulated the Moroccan national team for qualifying for the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup after defeating Portugal 1-0.
Al-Sudani said in a tweet via “Twitter”, “We share the joy of our brothers in the Kingdom of Morocco, the brilliance of its team that wrote history by qualifying for the Golden Square as the first Arab and African country to reach this stage of the World Cup.”
He added, “Moroccan youth have proven today that success is achieved by persistence, solidarity, and teamwork.”
