Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani directed the formation of a committee that includes representatives of the people of Kirkuk districts, in order to follow up on services, requests and decisions related to their areas.

According to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Office, Al-Sudani received, today, Monday, a delegation that included representatives of the Turkmen component, residents of the Bashir, Taza, and Ninety regions in Kirkuk Governorate.

Al-Sudani welcomed the members of the delegation, praising the sacrifices made by the people of their regions in various historical stages. He recalled the suffering and martyrs who rose during the confrontation with ISIS gangs, and their steadfastness and defense of their areas and land, along with the other fraternal components of Kirkuk Governorate.

He listened to a presentation from the people’s representatives about the service and living conditions in those areas, the level of government procedures, following up on land ownership issues and solving th
e problems of confiscated lands during the previous regime, as well as the level of service projects and infrastructure projects required.’

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to the delegation, stressing the importance of collective and diligent work to resolve any deferred files related to the governorate, directing the formation of a committee that includes representatives of the people of the aforementioned districts, in order to follow up on services, requests and decisions related to their areas.
