Al-muthanna: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani affirmed that the future of reconstruction, development, and progress in Iraq is tied to the people’s decision on election day, emphasizing that the outcome of their choice will determine the country’s path in the coming stage. During a meeting with the sheikhs and dignitaries of Al-Barakat tribe in Al-Muthanna Governorate, Al-Sudani stated that the government has a clear vision and a comprehensive project, and is determined to continue implementing it to achieve further progress and accomplishments. He noted that the government’s approach is based on providing essential services and improving citizens’ living standards.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister described the upcoming elections as a pivotal moment that will shape Iraq’s destiny for the next four years. He called for broad and conscious participation based on choosing a project for state-building and the rule of law. Al-Sudani pointed out that the government has successfully addressed more than 2,500 stalled projects and launched new ones across various sectors. He added that over the past three years, Iraq has overcome major challenges through a balanced policy that kept the country away from regional conflicts.

He concluded by stating that ‘Iraq today enjoys the respect and appreciation of regional and international partners for its active role in supporting regional and global stability.’
