Al-Sudani Emphasizes Role of Croatian Firms in Iraq’s Economic Landscape


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman and his accompanying delegation on Sunday. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in various vital fields, particularly energy and investment, to serve the common interests of the two countries.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani stressed the importance of developing long-standing bilateral relations and enhancing economic and investment cooperation through available opportunities in Iraq. He also emphasized the significance of Croatian companies’ presence in various business sectors. Additionally, he pointed to the necessity of forming a joint business council aimed at developing projects for the Iraqi and Croatian private sectors and exchanging views.
