Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has announced plans to address the medical and health care needs of shelters, alongside the construction of new homes with modern specifications in the near future.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the announcement came during Al-Sudani’s participation in an Iftar event for the elderly residents of the Al-Rashad and Al-Salikh homes. During the gathering, he extended his congratulations for the holy month of Ramadan and expressed wishes for a month filled with goodness and blessings. Al-Sudani took the opportunity to listen to the residents’ needs and assured them that all administrative and service issues would be addressed.
Al-Sudani acknowledged the dedication of the shelter employees, whose humanitarian efforts go beyond their professional duties. He emphasized his commitment to continuously monitor and fulfill the requirements of these homes. Plans include organizing programs for visits, trips, and Umrah rituals for the elderly residents.
The Prime Minister reiterated the importance of attending to the affairs of the shelters, ensuring high levels of care and interest. He confirmed the ongoing work to enhance their condition and promised to fulfill all medical and health-related needs. Additionally, the imminent construction of new homes, designed to provide comfort with modern specifications, was highlighted as a significant step forward.
