Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani held a telephone conversation this evening with Mazloum Abdi, commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the call addressed developments in Syria in light of recent security events and their repercussions on regional security and stability, as well as the situation in Iraq. The Prime Minister stressed the necessity of establishing dialogue during this critical phase to guarantee the rights of all Syrian communities, preserve the country’s unity and security, and prevent terrorists from escaping from prisons and disrupting the security and stability of Syria and Iraq, and the overall security of the region.
