Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani announced that the new road and bridge projects in the Najaf and Wasit governorates are part of the plan for the Million-Person Pilgrimages visiting the holy sites. During the launch of the implementation of four road and bridge projects in these governorates, al-Sudani emphasized the completion of numerous projects despite facing challenges.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani highlighted the completion of more than 42 bridges and overpasses over the past three years. He pointed out that Wasit Governorate has benefited from development and reconstruction projects costing over two trillion dinars. Meanwhile, he stressed the importance of focusing on the completion of projects in Najaf Governorate.
