Muthanna: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has emphasized the consequences of not participating in the upcoming elections, stating that it could lead to the return of corrupt and incompetent forces.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani made these remarks during a meeting with tribal leaders and dignitaries of the al-Dhawalim tribe in Muthanna Governorate. He highlighted the significance of the upcoming elections, describing them as an important electoral entitlement that will determine the country’s leadership through the people’s vote and informed choices.
Al-Sudani urged for broad participation in the elections, warning that abstaining from voting would mean relinquishing the citizens’ right to influence Iraq’s political future. He stressed the importance of active involvement in the electoral process to prevent the resurgence of undesirable forces.
